Created in 1985 under the presidency of Edward BEHR, the Festival of the Scoop and the Journalism of Angers, real observatory of Liberal arts and one of the pieces mistress of the building cultural angevin, is recognized henceforth in the journalistic world like an obligated passage allowing the competitors to be noticed and to the laureates to acquire a better recognition.

 

The 21st Festival, us to makes live, all together, of the strong moments in Angers and in townships of the Region of the Countries of the Loire, let's wager that he/it will be some in the same way for the 22nd edition whose theme will be

Following "Journalism and History" but also to "Violence and Information", the 21st Festival, in partnership with the ministry of Youth and Sports, proposed to the public a reflection on the reports that Sport and the Medias maintain. Through their mediatizations, the big contemporary sporty demonstrations (of which some, as the Tour of France or Olympics are more that centenaries) have been landed under the shape of big proceedings and meetings uniting the best professionals. The ties between Sport and Health, as well as, the Sportsmen and the practice, have been developed, without forgetting the future journalists who have been invited to a symposium on the Formations and the Journalism. It was also of the photographic approaches of the society, of the scientific and military world, under the shape of numerous exhibitions, meetings and projections.


Le SCOOP, Angers Festival

Since the origin, the Scoop of Angers, it is, in numbers and in pictures:

- 1 200 present journalists in the fundamental angevine,
- 150 000 spectators to more of 60 proceedings, evenings, meetings, shop, demonstrations,
- A half million of visitors for about thirty exhibitions presented annually,
- 10 broadcasts of television of which three years in succession Des Racines et des Ailes of France 3.

 And every year :
- 250 information subjects presented one the annual contest,
- 400 articles of local and national press,
- 8 000 visitors one the Internet http://www.festivalscoop.com site,
- endowed 18 prices are awarded of which the Big Price Jean-Louis CALDERON.

And then :

Of the efficient supports as those of the City of Angers, of the CNRS, of the Council Général of Maine and Loire, or of the Region of the Countries of Loire, of the ADEME, of the Conference of the Big 2coles of the Countries of the Loire, of the ministries of the Culture and the Sports as well as enterprises angevines. Of the faithful and prestigious partners as The alliance French, Reporters Without Borders, Physicians Without Borders, France Terre of asylum. and also the China agency New, GAMMA Peking in China, and of course
the world big agencies of press.

But also :

A prestigious exhibition "Best Of of the Scoop" of the 100 better prize-winning photos since 20 years, already presented in China (Peking), in big European cities and currently to the Alliance Française of Buenos Aires in Argentina.

And finally :
